With Nigeria’s university admission season approaching another decisive phase, thousands of candidates are being urged to check one critical document: their mock examination slip. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has confirmed that candidates who opted for the 2026 mock UTME can now access and print their slips online, a step that determines where and when they will sit the practice test.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination can begin printing their examination slips through its official portal.

The slip contains essential details including the candidate’s examination centre, date, and reporting time — information required to gain entry into the computer-based testing (CBT) venue.

Candidates are expected to visit the board’s website and input their registration number to generate the slip. Education platforms that track the UTME process confirm that the printing process is typically straightforward and requires only a candidate’s registration details.

The mock examination itself is scheduled to hold days before the main UTME exercise, serving as a preparatory test for candidates who voluntarily registered for it.

Candidates who selected the mock option during registration are advised to print their slips early to confirm their assigned examination centre and reporting time.

Early printing also allows candidates to locate their test centres ahead of the exam day — a practical step that helps avoid the last-minute confusion that often accompanies large national examinations.
