Jordan Henderson's return to the Premier League could be entering a new chapter. The veteran midfielder has officially left Brentford, with Chelsea now closing in on a free transfer.

Brentford have confirmed that Henderson has left the club by mutual consent after spending one season with the Bees.

The 36-year-old, who joined from Ajax last summer, made 34 appearances during the 2025/26 campaign. His departure clears the way for a possible move to Chelsea, where talks are said to be progressing.
