The National Youth Service Corps has released the deployment list for prospective corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto states under the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II exercise.
Prospective corps members affected by the development can now print their NYSC call-up letters, according to an announcement shared by the NYSC on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
The NYSC said in the announcement that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II deployment has been released for Niger and Sokoto States, adding that prospective corps members posted to the two states had been enabled to print their call-up letters.
The development follows a change to the orientation timetable for the two states. NYSC had extended the commencement of the orientation course because of ongoing renovation work at the orientation camps by the respective state governments.
The orientation course for prospective corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto is now scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. The cut-off and swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 14, while the closing ceremony is expected to hold on Tuesday, September 1.
The Corps advised prospective corps members affected by the adjustment to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid travelling at night.
