A reunion between two Super Eagles stars could be on the cards.

Fresh transfer reports suggest Victor Osimhen has encouraged fellow Nigerian international Ademola Lookman to consider a move to Galatasaray ahead of the new season.

According to reports from Turkish media, Osimhen is said to have personally welcomed the idea of Lookman joining him at the Istanbul club as speculation over the winger's future continues.

Lookman only joined Atlético Madrid during the winter transfer window after leaving Atalanta, but his impressive performances in Spain have already attracted fresh transfer attention. The Nigerian forward has scored nine goals and provided four assists in 24 appearances across all competitions since arriving in La Liga.

Reports claim Osimhen told Lookman: “We are waiting for you at Galatasaray. Come and be a part of this family.”

While there has been no official confirmation from either player or the clubs involved, the rumours have sparked excitement among Nigerian football fans who would love to see the Super Eagles duo play together at club level.

Galatasaray are reportedly looking to strengthen their attack ahead of the 2026/27 season, with uncertainty surrounding the future of Argentine striker Mauro Icardi.
For now, Lookman remains an Atlético Madrid player, but transfer speculation linking him with the Turkish champions continues to gather momentum.

Many football fans are already imagining what an Osimhen-Lookman partnership could look like in Istanbul.
