What was meant to be a joyful celebration has now sparked conversations online. TikTok star Peller says chaos outside his traditional wedding left some guests dealing with stolen phones and confusion.

Popular Nigerian content creator Peller has claimed that several unpleasant incidents happened outside the venue of his traditional wedding, including alleged phone thefts and a reported road accident.

Speaking during a livestream after the ceremony, Peller said the problems occurred outside while the wedding was taking place inside. He alleged that suspected hoodlums, commonly known as agberos, targeted guests arriving at the event.

According to him, some guests lost their phones, and he even paid to replace some of the stolen devices. Recalling the experience, he said, "Agbero plenty pass guests wey come to my wedding. People wey come say dem dey snatch their phones. Una know how many phone I don pay for?"
Peller also claimed he later heard that a road accident had happened near the venue while he was celebrating inside. However, as of the time of reporting, these claims have not been independently confirmed by police or other official authorities.

A day meant for celebration has now become a talking point, with many hoping future events can be safer for guests.
